Kickstarter Accepted, in Process

We are in the Kickstarter system!
I have yet to finish getting it set up and online, but that will be finished in the next day or two hopefully.
Also, the original estimate of 50 episodes has been downgraded to 25 for $5,000, though that number would certainly increase if we get more than $5,000 from the Kickstarter drive.
More updates to come!

Kickstarter Submitted, More Details on Project

I have submitted this project idea to Kickstarter in the hopes that they will accept the idea and begin to accept pledges.
Hopefully with the money raised I will be able to release 50 episodes from 50 different Occupy movements recording their struggles, victories, personal stories, stories as a movement, and the changes they've seen in city and state government as regards their movement.
I will start in Raleigh and continue on to Chapel Hill, Asheville, Atlanta, through the South and across the Midwest until California is reached.
From there going up through Oregon and Washington, looping through the North and coming back down to hit the original Occupy Wall Street.
I will keep the blog updated as developments occur.

Occupy the World: And On-Going Audio Documentary of the Occupy Movement

This is the first post of many, all of which pertaining to the Occupy the World on-going audio documentary in podcast form. Episodes will be posted weekly,  and a discussion of the actual movement aside, this project will provide documentation of the people of the movement, how it has developing and is developing, and give a unique insight as to how the movement integrates into different regions, states, and cities in the United States. My name is Austin Moss, and I have been a participant in Occupy Raleigh since 10/20/11. While I clearly support the cause of the Occupy movement, I feel that there is a need to have documentation for future reference and also for a clarification and humanization of the movement and its participants, and this is the aim of the Occupy the World documentary.
Hopefully recording and producing will begin within a month with podcasts being released as close to weekly as possible.
In February I hope to have enough funds to travel the nation and visit Occupy movements in every part of the United States.

I also hope to have the project up on Kickstarter soon, so as to try and raise the necessary funds as soon as possible.

Hope to be recording soon!
